We have received concerns from worried parents of demonstrating students. We can very well understand that it can be frightening as a parent when your child participates in demonstrations at the UvA, especially given the constant images of police violence.
To address this, we would like to facilitate a ‘Parent Support Line’. Concerned parents can call our secretariat. We will then connect you as a parent with a teacher at the UvA or another concerned parent for emotional support. These can be difficult times for both parents and students, so let’s take care of each other as much as possible.
