At the ASVA, we understand that study and student associations sometimes need help amending their statutes. This is why we offer the ASVA Statutes Service. Whether you want to make minor changes or draw up completely new statutes, we are ready to support you throughout this process.
Need help rewriting your statutes?
Although we cannot help you make substantive choices for your association, we can do a few things for you. First, we offer a read-through of your articles of association. Law firm employees will go through your bylaws and identify any inconsistencies, ambiguities or outdated wording. This will ensure that your articles of association are up-to-date and legally correct.
In addition, we can inform you about recent legislation that may affect your articles of association. This way, you can ensure that your articles of association are in line with the latest legal requirements.
We also offer templates you can use to get started yourself. These templates contain the key elements you need to amend or draft your articles of association. Using these templates will save you time and effort, while ensuring that you cover the essential legal aspects of your articles of association. Interested? Take up contact via legalaid@asva.nl.
Need a notary?
We are also in contact with a notary in Amsterdam, van Ligten and van Ligten. We have a special arrangement with this notary for our member associations. Member associations can get a discount through us, so you can change your statutes for a reasonable price. You have to register with us for this. Once every six months, we pass on a list of associations that have signed up to the notary, who will then change the articles of association with you. Would you like to make use of this? Then email diensten@asva.nl.
At the ASVA Statutes Service, we strive to support study and student associations in amending their statutes so that they meet today’s requirements. We understand that this is an important process and we are here to help you every step of the way. Contact us today for further info at rechtsbureau@asva.nl!
