The ASVA Student Union is the largest advocacy organization for students in Amsterdam. We represent all 100,000 students in the city, including those at research universities, universities of applied sciences, and vocational colleges. The quality and accessibility of education are under pressure, and with a shortage of 6,000 rooms it is very hard for students to find housing. To tackle these problems, we talk to the Executive Boards of educational institutions, investigate bottlenecks, engage with the media, and organize demonstrations.
