Request funding

Request joint event study associations

ASVA has reserved a yearly budget that study associations can apply for if they are organising a joint event. Associations can apply for funding under the following conditions:

  1. Two or more member associations jointly organise an event;
  2. The event contributes to student life in Amsterdam;
  3. A member association can only be part of an application a maximum of twice a year;
  4. Member associations may apply for up to a maximum of €300 at one time.
  5. At least 60% of the budget must come from own budget/ticket sales/other. So 40% of the income in the budget may come from ASVA.

In compensation, it must be actively clear that ASVA has contributed to the activity.

  • ASVA’s logo must be shown on the promotion.
  • ASVA is tagged at least once per event in a story about the event.

Application for Sustainable initiaties

ASVA also reserves money for sustainable initiatives. If you are a member (association) of ASVA, you can claim this under a number of conditions:

  1. It concerns a sustainable initiative done by one (or more) members or member association of ASVA.
  2. A member (association) can only be part of an application a maximum of twice a year.
  3. A maximum of €100 can be applied for sustainable initiatives at a time.
  4. Users of the grant must share a photo/video of the sustainable initiative once on their social media, and tag ASVA in it.

Granting of subsidy is done by the Board of ASVA, taking into account a good balance of HvA and UvA associations and substantive and social events and initiatives. In exchange for granting a subsidy, a compensation may be requested, for example in the form of promotion for ASVA.

The application has to consist of

  1. A plan of action (+/- 1 A4) including:
  • A summary of the event;
  • A planning for (the organisation of) the event or initiative;
  • A motivation as to why ASVA would contribute to this event.

2. A budget showing how much money is being requested.
