Directions

All the above mentioned ASVA locations are at the so-called 'Binnengasthuis Court'. The Binnengasthuis Court cannot be reached by car, only by bike or on foot. If you take the car, it is best to park it at the City Hall (Stopera/stadhuis) and follow the directions given under "subway". Parking in the centre of Amsterdam is quite expensive though. If by bike, drive to one of the locations mentioned below (Muntplein or Waterlooplein) and follow directions from there.

  • Tram: You can take tram line 4, 9, 14, 16, 20, 24 or 25 to the Muntplein. Cross the bridge towards the Amstel Hotel. Enter the Nieuwe Doelenstraat and turn left at the first option. You will now enter the Binnengasthuis Court.
  • Subway: Take subway line 51, 53 or 54 to Waterlooplein. Exit the station at the 'stadhuis' (city hall) side. Walk through the public hallway of the 'stadhuis'. When you exit the hallway, turn left. Cross the bridge on your right and go straight on until the end of the Staalstraat. When you cross the last bridge of the Staalstraat, enter the Binnengasthuis Court through the bicycle and pedestrian gateway across the street.
